Eva Szilagyi was born in Budapest, Hungary and was raised in Toronto. She graduated from Humber College. Eva has spent 25 years of her working life as a commercial industrial professional photographer, creating images that include photographing such dignitaries as Queen Elizabeth II and the Pope John Paul II.

A professional photographer, Eva taught for 11 years in the continuing education department at Humber College. Eva has been an active member of the Professional Photographers of Canada for 25 years, becoming National President in 1995. She was awarded the Masters of Photographic Arts (MPA) in 1990.
