Autobiography

I Jeno Csiszer was born in Kolozsvar in 1941. In 1967 I graduated from the Institute Polytechnic in Iasi as a mechanical engineer. As a lead engineer I worked at “Clujana” a leather shoe company in Kolozsvar from 1967 to 1986. In the mean time, I started working with leather, making different impressions of nature , animals and other subjects. In 1987 after living in Austria for eight months, we emigrated in Canada. While working in various jobs, on the side I continued to pursue my artistic ambitions in the leather art. As of 2005 I also started carving in wood.
