Maria H. Sarkany SCA is a visual artist. Born and educated in Europe. She received early fine art training and Graduated from the School of Fine Arts in the Faculty of Textile. She is the Winner of the 1999 The Royal Canadian Mint contest. Her 25-cent coin design is “A Nation of People”. Maria is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists. Maria has had numerous Solo, Juried and Group Exhibitions throughout North America and Europe. Her award-winning paintings and graphics are displayed in corporate and private collections in Canada, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Germany, U.S.A. & Zimbabwe.
