Rozália Tóth
was born in Transylvania. She completed her
education in Civil Engineering in the
seventies at the university of Temeshwar. In
1990, she immigrated to Canada. She started
to paint more seriously in Canada, gaining
inspiration from the work of old masters.
Rozal’s
preferred still-lives capture folk art
objects, ceramics, textiles made by
over-worked, simple people’s hands, objects
of everyday life that surrounded men as
tools and the same time as ornaments. The
mediums she is working with are, acrylic,
oil and watercolor.
