SZABO, LORANT

Lorant was born in 1968 and moved to Toronto, Canada in 1997. He learned the basics of photography in his high school years from a seasoned artist and soon after he started developing black and white pictures with his own equipment.

After his university years in Budapest his career moved in a different direction. In the early 2000's he started traveling extensively and then returned to photography - this time with digital colour photos printed on large canvas. He likes to take city and landscape snapshots with unique colours and impressions.

Lóránt 1968-ban született, 1997-ben költözött Torontóba. Gimnáziumi évei alatt sajátította el a fényképészet alapjait, utána saját felszerelésével hívta elő és nagyította feketefehér felvételeit. Budapesti felsőfokú tanulmányai után karrierje más irányba fordult és alábbhagyott a fotózással.

2000 után rendszeres és gyakori utazásai során újból fényképezni kezdett – ezúttal digitális, színes képeit nagyméretű vászonra nyomtatva. Különösen kedveli az egyedi színvilágú, hatású városi és természeti pillanatfelvételeket..
